Hope grows when people are surrounded by love, consistency, and compassionate care.
After the loss of his grandparent, Fausto lost the stable care every child deserves. Soon, he arrived at Hogar Immanuel, Mustard Seed Communities’ home for children and adults with disabilities in the Dominican Republic; the team warmly enveloped him into the community where his needs were addressed right away.
Caregivers, therapists, and medical professionals came together alongside Fausto to relieve his pain and create a care plan focused on his health, mobility, and future. Through that dedicated support and his own determination, Fausto has made incredible progress.
Today, one of Fausto’s favorite parts of the day is music therapy. He loves listening to music, exploring different instruments, and sharing joyful moments with the people around him.
Fausto continues to grow stronger, surrounded by a community that recognizes the dignity of every individual and promotes opportunities to thrive at every turn.
