Earlier this year, one of our dedicated mission buses in Jamaica broke down, leaving a critical gap in transportation.
In addition to being a lifeline for residents to reach doctor’s appointments and activities beyond their home, this bus transports mission teams safely across the island—allowing them to continue their ministry of presence.
This summer, we launched a campaign to raise $105,000 for a new mission bus in Jamaica.
Today, thanks to your incredible generosity, we are well on our way to rolling on ahead.

Why is this bus so vital to our community?
Every year, hundreds of mission volunteers travel from across the globe to serve Mustard Seed Communities with compassion, faith, and purpose.
They are a vital part of our MSC Family—bringing joy, connection, and hands-on support to our residents with disabilities. Their presence uplifts daily life across our apostolates, where their care and companionship are an essential part of what makes our communities feel like home.
The time our volunteers spend with residents sharing meals, praying together, playing games, and offering simple friendship has an immeasurable impact on the quality of life for the children and adults we serve. These relationships affirm dignity, nurture faith, and remind every person that they are deeply loved.
With a new mission bus, our volunteers can keep showing up and our residents can keep experiencing the joy and belonging that their visits bring.
To everyone who gave: thank you. You ensure that this vital piece of our ministry continues uninterrupted. Your kindness keeps the wheels of our mission turning, bringing love and connection to those who need it most.
Every gift brings us closer to providing reliable transportation for our mission volunteers, ensuring they can continue to share God’s love and build meaningful relationships with our residents. Together, we can keep this vital part of our ministry rolling forward.
