For more than three decades, Mustard Seed Communities (MSC) has welcomed mission volunteers into daily life at its homes around the world through faith-based mission trips rooted in relationship and care.
For one week, volunteers on short-term international mission trips step into the rhythm of the MSC Family. They share meals, lend hands, repair living spaces, and form meaningful relationships with children and adults with disabilities. All the while, learning from individuals whose lives are marked by resilience, joy, and dignity.
This approach reflects a foundational belief of MSC’s founder, Msgr. Gregory Ramkissoon: that love is essential to healing.
In 2025, this vision continued to unfold through volunteer mission trips to Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds, faith traditions, schools, parishes, and communities. Though each team arrived with different skills and stories, one shared experience emerged again and again—love has a way of crossing every boundary.
Our appreciation for these teams and individuals who extend their time, energy, and love to our community runs deep.
