Manuel listens closely when someone speaks to him and often responds with a radiant smile. He also looks forward to his daily physical therapy sessions, especially the comfort and connection of therapeutic massage.

At the Puerto Plata Special School, Carolina is developing her speech and loves practicing her new words while talking, learning, and playing with her classmates.

With consistent care and physical therapy, he has grown stronger and found new ways to share his feelings with those around him. Today, Miguel is known for his frequent smile and joyful presence. He loves being outdoors with the warm sun on his face, listening to music, and enjoying the sounds of his favorite cartoons.

Nicauli has been part of the Mustard Seed family since she was nine years old. Curious and observant, she enjoys keeping up with everything happening around her and watching her fellow residents take part in daily activities. She especially loves bright colors and music. Nicauli listens attentively when someone speaks to her and responds in her own expressive ways. With daily physical and occupational therapy, she continues to grow and strengthen her ability to engage with the world around her.

Jerry has made wonderful progress since joining the Mustard Seed Communities family in the Dominican Republic in 2017. Through daily physical therapy and consistent support, he has gained greater independence and can now crawl and explore on his own. Jerry enjoys listening to music, taking cozy naps, and spending time with the people who care for him. With continued encouragement, he is finding new ways to grow, move, and engage with the world around him.
