Experience Caring for the Most Vulnerable in Jamaica
- Embark on a journey through five to seven of our inspiring locations in Jamaica, where we provide compassionate care for children and adults with disabilities, children living with HIV, and young mothers building brighter futures.
- Engage in meaningful conversations with Msgr. Gregory, the visionary founder of Mustard Seed Communities, and Father Garvin, the Executive Director of Mustard Seed International, as they share the history, mission, and enduring impact of MSC’s work.

FAQs About ‘Come and See’ Trips
The headquarters of Mustard Seed Communities is in Kingston. Flights should be booked into and out of the Kingston Airport, KIN. We will coordinate arrival and departure times once the attendees have been finalized.
We can usually accommodate special dietary requirements. Any allergies or dietary restrictions are communicated to staff in advance, who make every effort to accommodate them. The water is safe to drink, but bottled water will be provided at all times as well.
Mustard Seed Communities has a long standing relationship with hosting donors, volunteers, board members, and US staff at the Courtleigh. The Courtleigh is a boutique hotel that caters to both tourists and business travelers providing two dining options for dinner and a pool to all guests.
– Comfortable shoes for walking on unpaved paths that could get wet in case of unexpected rain.
– Due to their disabilities, many of our residents do not have full control over their motions – so it can be easy for them to accidentally pull on clothing that is too loose or flowy.
– Sunscreen, bug spray, motion sickness pills if you get car sick. Travel will mostly be on the highway, but it is nice to have as an option.
– Rain jacket or small umbrella.
The traveler will cover the cost of purchasing airfare and the cost of the hotel. Mustard Seed Communities will book the rooms and the traveler will pay for the room upon check in. Mustard Seed Communities covers the cost of meals and transportation while you are in Jamaica.
Ensuring the safety and security of visitors is Mustard Seed Communities’ top priority. Dedicated mission representatives, who are full-time employees of MSC and native to the country, oversee all volunteer activities, accompanying groups throughout the day and evening. They possess deep familiarity with the local culture and customs. All homes are equipped with 24-hour security, featuring gated premises for added protection. With nearly three decades of experience, Mustard Seed Communities has a proven track record of facilitating safe and enriching mission trips abroad.
