The faith that Jesus requires of us, that of a child, to enter into the kingdom of heaven is a faith that trusts, that forgives, that accepts.
The faith that Jesus requires of us, that of a child, to enter into the kingdom of Heaven is a faith that trusts, that forgives, that accepts, that seeks to please others, that sees life without the taint of cynicism that age and experience carry. The evolution of my view of Mustard Seed has been a long and difficult journey made more difficult and hard to see because I, from the beginning, approached it as a worldly adult. My faith had not been that of a child and so had suffered and taken years to reach understanding. But I know things will happen not in my time; I accept they happen in God’s time. I am happy so long as He is with me the whole time.
