SEND ME TACOS!
Hello to the world from wonderful Florida! My name is Jim Blanchet and I am preparing to go on a mission trip to Nicaragua….but you already know that by now. So that being said; thanks for stopping by and visiting my fundraising page.
I am currently a behavior therapist working in a clinic providing therapy for children with Autism and other related neurological disabilities. This strong base and understanding of this field demands of me that I use what the Lord has provided me to spread the Good News and help children in need.
I know that everybody hates being asked to give money to things, but think of it in guy terms. That’s right…I am talking about Taco Units. You see…here on the Emerald Coast of Florida we have this little taco joint called Taco Town. This little gem of pure non-Mexican bliss has $0.49 tacos on Monday. This is the basis of the Taco Unit. In today’s market and global exchange rate, the Taco Unit is estimated at $0.50. Yes…only 50 cents! I view things in life that have to be purchased in terms of Taco Units. I need a gallon of gasoline?... About 7 Taco Units. I need a nice hot pastrami on rye?... 12 Taco Units. I need a hair cut?... Nice try folks, but I am bald so those Taco Units ACTUALLY go toward some tacos.
How many Taco Units are you willing to let go of to help a child in need? My current goal is a simple 2000 Taco Units. I ask that you please think about this, pray on it, and provide those children with love, care, and generosity. A mere 50 Taco Unit donation is all I ask. That’s less than the cost of three pizza pies!
I thank you for visiting my page, giving up some tacos for the kids, and most all for your prayers for the entire Mustard Seed Community. Together we can change the world…one Taco Unit at a time.
