Marlene
My Birthday: December 24, 2000
My Gender: Female
My Home: Hogar Belen Diriamba, Nicaragua
My Story:
Hi everyone, my name is Marlene. I came to Mustard Seed Communities Nicaragua in 2006 when I was about 6 years old. It's really cool that I have lived at both Hogar Belen Managua and Hogar Belen Diriamba. I really like the new home at Diriamba because as I get a little older and bigger there's a whole bunch of space for me to run around and play. I don't have a lot of friends and really like to spend most of my time just being by myself. It's OK, I'm just a pretty quiet child and like alone time.
I have long, full and beautiful hair and when the missionaries visit the ladies love to comb and braid my hair. I go to school almost every day and work very hard to learn all of the shapes and colors. I love to draw pictures in school. My most favorite thing of all is dancing! I love the music and moving to a good beat! Piñata parties are a blast and I can't wait for the candy to fall out because I love sweets! Come visit soon and let's dance!
Love, Marlene
My Background:
Marlene is from the Northern section of Nicaragua, where she was living in a foster home for several years. She was abandoned and found in very bad health, suffering from malnutrition and neglect. She was brought to Mustard Seed Communities Nicaragua by the government in 2006.
